India’s Hotstar Streaming service has no current plans for Windows apps
Hotstar, a major TV streaming service now says it has no current plans for Windows/phone app. Here to be noted that Hotstar previously came up with the statement that the app is in development. Windowslatest, posted a response from Hotstar in reply from a users query about Windows Phone app. This is indeed disappointing news for Windows Phone users in India. Actually Hotstar is ideal Universal app on Windows Platform. Imagine a single app that works across multiple devices from small screen Windows Mobile devices upto Xbox. This seems like missed opportunity from Hotstar considering pretty decent market share of Windows Phone platform in India. However, things can changes & hopefully we might see Hotstar UWA as the platform market share increases .
