MINT APP REMOVED FROM STORE.. BUT ONLY TO FIX BUGS

The Mint app is one of those key cross platform apps in the Windows Store which gives Windows Phone users access to a variety of banking services even when their own bank does not support it.
They have had an app in the Windows Store since 2013, though this app has not been updated particularly often.
Over the weekend however we have had a number of tips from readers concerned that the app appears to have been removed from the Windows Store, meaning when users hard reset they are not able to re-install again.
Fortunately this is not just another banking app that is fleeing the platform.
According to Mint support the issue is just temporary, and related to the need for bug fixes for Windows 10.
They write:
I’m sorry that you’re having trouble with the Mint app for Windows 10, I understand your confusion. While the Windows 8 app did initially carry over to 10 without much issue, some bugs did come up that were breaking the experience for some users. Due to that, it has been taken out of the Microsoft Store until it can be stabilized; however for those who have it installed already, it may still work. Unfortunately I do not have any ETA to share currently. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this may cause meanwhile.
Hopefully these issues will be addressed and the app returned shortly, but even better would be an updated app offering the full range of services available on other platforms.
