Official Windows 10 Mobile update will start rolling out early next year

Most of us know that Microsoft was planning to bring official Windows 10 Mobile update to existing windows phone 8.1 devices this december but that didn't happened and our community went krazzy asking "When Will Windows10 Mobile Start Rolling Out Officially?" when is that gonna happen. it was certainly,The most asked question which i eventually got tired of repeatedly answering.

Thankfully, i have the answer now as a Microsoft spokesperson has spoken regarding this to ZDNet

"This November we introduced Windows 10 to phones including brand new features such as Continuum and Universal Windows Apps with the introduction of the Lumia 950 and 950 XL. The Windows 10 Mobile upgrade will begin rolling out early next year to select existing Windows 8 and 8.1 phones.”

Microsoft is still working hard to fix bugs and bringing improvements to the their windows 10 mobile update as just last night they release another cumulative update build 10586.36 for windows insider. It clearly indicates that they are still busy polishing the build for an official release.

Here is the list of the first batch of Lumia smartphones that will receive a free upgrade when available :
Lumia 430
Lumia 435
Lumia 532
Lumia 535
Lumia 540
Lumia 635 (1 GB RAM)
Lumia 640
Lumia 640 XL
Lumia 735
Lumia 830
Lumia 930
The features may vary by device and 8 GB of internal memory is required.
