How To Solve The SD Card Corrupted Error In WP 8.1/10

Hey there everyone its been a headache for many WP users who have faced the SD card curroption problem in their Lumias . May it be due to soft reset or sudden restart of their phone due to some technical problem.
A curropted SD card freezes the phone sometimes because the indexes in the memory are broken and some file chains are missing which causes system to crash and eventually you are left with you head scratching about the problem!

So here are some simple steps by which you can solve that problem :

1. Switch OFF your Phone(Duh!) and remove the SD card.

2. Put it in a card reader and connect it to your PC(Windows).

3. Now open command prompt as Administrator and type the following command without the quotes.

    "chkdsk /f <drive letter> : "

 Now the system will scan your SD card for errors and fix them

Important note ! : If after the scanning it asks whether to convert the broken chains to file then type 'n' without quotes and hit enter.

    On a windows machine hit start then start typing cmd. Right click on CMD "Command Prompt" and choose "Run as Administrator". Then you can proceed to type the commands for chkdsk /f . Drive letter being the letter of your MicroSD card that you connected to your computer. If you are unsure you can open "My Computer" or "This PC" and see which drive letter is assigned to your MicroSD card.
