RIP MixRadio

MixRadio is initially known as Nokia Music Store, Nokia Music and Ovi Music. Everything was gone fine for MixRadio team until Microsoft acquisition of Nokia which includes devices and services division of it, On that deal Nokia also included MixRadio as well but Microsoft isn’t really interested to buy a music service as they have their own Groove music (previously known as Xbox music). In the meantime Microsoft wanted to close the deal, and Microsoft closed the deal with Nokia for $7.2bn.


Microsoft then sold MixRadio to Line Corporation which is mostly known for their Line Messenger. Line Corporation was initially happy about the deal and it was, but they made a mistake by making it as an exclusivity with Samsung. And then while opening MixRadio app, we got a note saying “Farewell from MixRadio, We are sad to say that MixRadio is closing soon”. Now it's No more.
I loved MixRadio offline playback feature and I barely used any other music player previously for my love of music. I just want to ask one question to Line Corporation, Can we expect any updates saying ”We're back”?
